A new student-built Anki workflow

MasterDeck AI

A new way to interact with Anki, powered by AI.

A workflow I had not come across anywhere else online.

Start from new medical material or a deck you already use. Build a visual Big Picture Card, make it your own, then generate the focused review cards you need.

Summer Early Bird $9.90 launch price - set it up before the semester begins.

One-time purchase. Secure checkout. No coding experience required.

Yes, this is still Anki.
01

Still inside Anki

02

50+ focused cards from one request

The exact number depends on what the material genuinely needs.

04

Light and dark mode ready

The first surprise

This is still Anki.

Not a separate review app. Not another place to rebuild your collection. MasterDeck AI keeps Anki at the center and gives you a modern way to create and improve what goes into it.

Keep the review system you trust. Change what your study material can look like.

Visual freedom

Make Anki yours.

Your cards do not have to look like everyone else's. Keep the study system you trust, then shape the visual language around the way you think.

Day to night

Built for daylight. Ready for late nights.

The included setup stays readable and coherent when Anki switches between light and dark mode.

Drag to move from light mode to dark mode.

The workflow

A controlled source first. Better review cards after.

Separate the work so you can inspect, personalize, and control the result before review begins.

  1. 01

    Start with your material

Use lecture slides, a PDF, notes, or another course source you are allowed to use.

  2. 02

    Build the Big Picture Card

Turn dense content into one structured, visual overview inside Anki.

  3. 03

    Make it personal

Add the slides, screenshots, diagrams, drawings, and changes that matter to you.

  4. 04

    Generate the review cards

Create the focused cards you need, then bring the complete set into Anki in one copy-paste.

The second surprise

Fifty useful cards should not mean fifty manual entries.

On a dense source, even with AI, creating a card, copying it, pasting it, and repeating the process fifty times is still slow. Whether the material needs 20 cards or 50+, this workflow creates the focused set from one request, then brings it into Anki in one copy-paste.

50+ is an example, not a minimum or guarantee. The number scales with the source: a short lecture may need around 20 cards, while a dense chapter may need 50 or more. The goal is the right set, not the largest deck.

Visuals where they matter

The right visual returns with the right question.

Place a slide, screenshot, drawing, or diagram beside the relevant idea in your Big Picture Card. When the review cards are generated, that visual context can follow the card it belongs to instead of becoming a disconnected image dump.

If a visual could reveal the answer, it can stay hidden until you reveal the card.

Why the extra step?

The hard part is not more text. It is a review-ready result.

Going directly from a dense source to flashcards can make the structure and visual context harder to control.

Direct generation

Everything is decided at once.

  • Harder to inspect the full structure
  • Visual context can be lost
  • More cleanup before review

Big Picture first

A controlled source you can shape.

  • Your edits and visuals stay visible
  • Cards come from a prepared foundation
  • The final set is easier to refine

Already have a medical deck?

Keep the content. Upgrade the experience.

You do not need to rebuild everything from zero. Use the workflow on a chapter you already study, then reorganize it, restyle it, and turn it into a clearer Big Picture Card, refreshed review cards, or both.

Work one chapter at a time and keep the material you already value. The paid training shows the complete process step by step.

Built from a real study problem

I wanted AI to make Anki genuinely faster, more useful, and more personal.

I was not looking for another generic tool that produces cards I would never actually use. I wanted a practical way to use AI in my studies: to create better cards faster, keep control of the result, and make Anki far more visual and personal. After months of testing and refinement, this became the system I actually use - and a way of working with Anki that I had not seen elsewhere online. Your purchase also helps support my studies.

FAQ

The practical questions.

Is this really inside Anki?

Yes. The Big Picture Cards and the generated review cards are made to live inside Anki. MasterDeck AI is not a replacement review app.

Is this just another AI flashcard generator?

No. This is not a one-click generator that gives you a fixed, generic deck. The training introduces a different way to communicate with Anki through AI - a way that was not realistically possible before today's tools. You keep control over the structure, visual style, explanations, and final cards. After trying conventional flashcard generators, this is the workflow that genuinely changed how I create cards and review.

Will it always generate exactly 50 cards?

No. Fifty-plus is a realistic example for a dense lecture, not a quota or guarantee. The correct number depends on the material and detail you need.

Do I need to know how to code?

No coding experience is required. The training shows the setup and repeated workflow step by step.

Can I add my own slides and images?

Yes. You choose the slides, screenshots, drawings, or diagrams that matter and place them where they belong before generating the review cards.

Can I use my existing Anki decks?

Yes. Near the end of the same training video, a dedicated section shows how to use a chapter from a deck you already have to create a Big Picture Card, refreshed review cards, or both. It also explains which specialized cards are better left untouched. Use only decks you own or are authorized to modify.

Does the workflow verify medical accuracy for me?

No AI workflow replaces source checking. In my own use, this method has worked very well and I am genuinely satisfied with the results. But you should still compare the output with your course material and correct anything incomplete or inaccurate.
